Norwich Union rebrands Morley funds
In a bid to simplify the image presented to clients and the financial adviser community, Aviva's UK subsidiary Norwich Union has rebadged a set of investment funds.
The insurer has changed the name of seven of its investment funds. The funds were previously marketed under the Morley Fund Management brand but will now be marketed as Norwich Union. The funds will however continue to be managed by Morley. Among the funds affected are the Morley Sustainable Future Absolute Growth fund, which becomes the Norwich Union Sustainable Future Absolute Growth fund, and the Morley UK Focus Fund, the name of which changes in the same way. John Clougherty, director of collective investments at Norwich Union, said: This is an important change for Norwich Union because it means that all our retail funds will carry the Norwich Union brand. Morley is a well known among institutional investors but using dual brands confused many customers and some financial advisers. This change is part of our drive to improve our range of collective investments and increase sales.
