Huntington Investment, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ohio-based Huntington Bancshares, plans to expand its services in Central Ohio by opening two new office locations and hiring several financial advisors, as part of its expansion strategy announced in 2009.

The new office in Dublin, Ohio, is expected to be complete by April 1, 2010. Financial counselors Sherry Maynard, John Stewart and Sheri Wojcik are among the new team members who will be supporting clients at the Dublin office. Additionally, a New Albany office is slated to open in early April.

Stan Evans, who is leading the expansion effort and director of Huntington Wealth Advisors, said: “We've been speaking with hundreds of top-notch advisors from throughout our markets and are looking forward to continuing to bring outstanding talent on board.”

Daniel Benhase, senior executive vice president and director of private financial group at Huntington, said: “Huntington is committed to expanding our investment team and the services they offer to our customers. We are creating an environment where investment professionals can succeed in delivering a broad base of products to ensure our customers are receiving excellent investment advice.”
