HSBC poised to launch business credit card in Hong Kong

HSBC is set to launch a new business card for companies in Hong Kong as part of a global initiative.

<p>The group&#0039;s new Business Card offers companies a key payments and cash management tool to assist in the management of company expenses, along with business offers, rewards and merchant discounts. <br /><br />The move is part of a global initiative as it will form part of a worldwide launch program that will also include the UK, the US, Brazil, Turkey and the UAE.<br /><br />We observe a growing use of credit card payments globally, which signals a change in the way companies will manage their purchases, payments and cash flows in the future, said Margaret Leung, general manager and global co-head for commercial banking.<br /><br />The use of HSBC Business Card is going to ease some of the burdens companies are facing in managing their payments, purchases and cash flows, she added. <br /><br />Key features of the new card include the option of a HKD denominated Visa gold card, revolving credit and monthly repayments of 4% of the outstanding balance with 56 interest-free repayment days.</p>
