Credit Suisse announces new private banking chief for Americas region
Credit Suisse has appointed Anthony De Chellis as head of private banking in the Americas. In this newly created role, Mr De Chellis will lead the growth, development and coordination of the firm's private banking businesses in the Americas.
Mr De Chellis joins Credit Suisse from UBS's US business where he was head of the private wealth management division. We are delighted that Tony has decided to join Credit Suisse, said Walter Berchtold, the Swiss company's global chief executive for private banking. He is a talented banking executive with proven experience in serving the needs of ultra high-net-worth clients and in successfully leading large organizations. Our goal is to increase our presence in the US, the world's largest wealth market, where we are already making significant progress.
