BBR Staff Writer Published 26 May 2009

ANZ Bank is continuing the expansion of its banking network in Vietnam by opening a new Transaction Centre in Hanoi and a branch outlet in Ho Chi Minh City. Additionally, it plans to launch six new transaction offices in June.

The new transaction centre at Hanoi and branch in Ho Chi Minh City are full-service outlets offering banking services like personal finance deposit and lending products, including transactional, savings and investment accounts as well as consumer lending products such as credit cards, auto finance and home loans.

Moreover, these ANZ outlets will offer corporate financial services such as lending, trade finance (export and import), cash management and markets (foreign exchange).

Thuy Dam, CEO, ANZ Vietnam, said: “Our goal to be one of the top banks in Vietnam is underpinned by our commitment to deliver global quality products and services for individuals and corporate clients, including in key economic growth areas such as agribusiness and infrastructure.
